Hello, I'm Nathan, one-half of the dynamic duo that runs CrossFit Hijacked. My partner in crime? The unstoppable Chloe. We have been at this game since 2015, forging a community that's as fired up about CrossFit as we are. I'm a level 2 CrossFit Coach and I've been in the CrossFit world coaching since 2012.
CrossFit to me, is more than a workout - it's a lifestyle. It's about the sweat, the effort, and the sweet victory of pushing your boundaries and discovering a strength you didn't know you had. There's a unique kind of thrill in watching someone hit a PR they've been chasing, or seeing the spark in a newcomer's eyes when they power through their first WOD.
But when I'm not at the gym, you'll find me indulging in my other passions. I'm a recreational pilot, and there's nothing quite like the freedom of soaring through the skies on a beautiful weekend morning, with friends and family along for the ride. I'm also an avid road cyclist and open water swimmer, always looking for new ways to challenge myself and stay active.
Off the bike and out of the water, I love to unwind with a good podcast or a run with my loyal sidekick, Oka. These hobbies keep me grounded and remind me that life, like CrossFit, is all about balance and enjoying the journey.
CrossFit Hijacked isn't just a gym, it's a proving ground. It's a place where you can test your mettle, challenge your limits, and redefine what you're capable of. We've built a tribe here, a family that's ready to welcome you with open arms.
So, if you're game to shake up your fitness routine and see what you're really made of, we're waiting for you at CrossFit Hijacked. Can't wait to see you on the floor giving it your all.
Hello there! I'm Chloe, the co-conspirator of CrossFit Hijacked, where we believe burpees are a form of love and a healthy lifestyle is our shared philosophy! Alongside Nath, my partner in crime (and in fitness) we're creating a CrossFit community that's just as much about good vibes as it is good form.
I'm the sherlock to our social media's Moriarty, decoding the mystery of hashtags and scouring the interwebs for funny CrossFit memes to bring you content that's equal parts inspiration and fun. Between candid gym snaps, action-packed videos, and wittily crafted captions, I try to bring you a social media game that is as strong as our deadlifts.
Off-duty, you'll find me trading gym walls for the open spaces of beautiful Port Macquarie. You might spot me navigating the streets of Port-Mac on my trusty push bike, pounding the pavement on a run, or bravely taking open water swims. I also love to listen to podcasts and am always on the hunt for more!
Did I mention the fluffiest member of the team, Oka? Hijacked four-legged mascot and the light of our lives! She's the reigning champ in tail-wagging and play wrestling. She's always ready for a friendly pat, a belly rub, or a tug-of-war match. While she can't spot your bench press, she'll definitely make your day!
So come join us at CFH, where fitness isn't a chore but a lifestyle. We're all about encouraging each other, sharing a laugh, and maybe - just maybe- sneaking in a cheeky burpee or two, Looking forward to seeing you at CFH, where you'll become the strongest version of yourself.
Hello, I'm Ashlee, a passionate exercise student who holds an Honours and Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Exercise Science as well as a certified Level 1 CrossFit coach who has been coaching since 2012. I've also attained a Certificate III and IV in Fitness and am trained in first-aid. These qualifications provide a solid foundation for my role as a coach, equipping me with knowledge and skills to guide others on their fitness journey to becoming the strongest version of themselves. I have a love for the dynamic and enriching world of CrossFit. The magic of sport lies in its captivating blend of fun, functionality, and challenges that keep me physically and mentally engaged.
What interests me most about CrossFit is how it enhances my physical strength and fitness contributing to my overall health, improving both neurological (including coordination and motor patterns) and metabolic adaptations. This holistic approach to fitness prepares me for life's everyday tasks, including the unexpected ones.
Being part of the CrossFit Hijacked community is an expertise in itself. It's filled with vibrant encouraging and fun-loving individuals who make every workout session enjoyable. Surrounded by motivation and support, it's easy to stay consistent with my training and work towards achieving my goals.
My journey as a coach at CF Hijacked has been incredibly fulfilling. There's nothing quite like witnessing individuals evolve in their fitness journey, enhancing their form, function, and athleticism. The joy of observing someone grasp a new skill or exceed their expectations is truly indescribable.
Beyond CrossFit, my interests extend to human movement particularly biomechanics and posture, often dedicating time to research and listening to podcasts on human physiology and movement. When I'm not training or coaching, you'll find me hiking, strumming my guitar, delving into the fantastical world of HP, or indulging in my love of cinnamon scrolls out at Baked Culture.
Hi, my name is Jenni and I'm Head of Hijacked Operations here (gym manager) and coach.
I'm a Port local, retired vet nurse, wife to Chad, mum to two grown up girls, and three fur babies.
I haven't always been into fitness! I decided about 10 years ago that I needed to get fitter so I started getting some PTs, did boot camps and functional fitness type training. I also dabbled in Bodybuilding for a couple of years, as well as triathlon.
I always knew that ultimately we would end up starting CrossFit at some point. It just seemed so intimidating! That changed the day my husband and myself walked through the doors and were welcomed into the Hijacked Community. Fast forward 5 years and here I am, Level 1 Coach and Manager of CrossFit Hijacked!
I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to help people become the strongest version of themselves, in a safe and inclusive environment. I get excited seeing great movement patterns, and people progressing through challenges they never thought possible.
In my spare time you'll probably find me hanging out at the gym, studying or walking our doggo Maxi and hanging out with my family. Generally making the most of the quiet times.
Hello, I'm Marto. Since discovering CrossFit in 2016 and starting my coaching journey in 2018, CFH been a significant part of my life. CrossFit isn't just a fitness program to me-it's a tool that allows me to keep up with the energy of my two growing boys and engage fully in their lives. It's a route to personal growth and an assurance of overall well-being.
The joy I derive from coaching is in seeing our athletes grow stronger, more confident, and achieve their fitness goals. I firmly believe that the fitter and stronger you are, the further you distance yourself from sickness and injury. To me, CrossFit is a journey towards becoming the strongest version of yourself.
When I'm not at the gym, I enjoy diverse hobbies. Skateboarding, a long-time passion, challenges me just like CrossFit does, while fishing offers peaceful, reflective moments amidst nature. Exploring the great outdoors with my kids and partner Hayley provides life lessons in respect for nature and resilience towards each other. Soccer, hockey, and surfing have each added to my fitness journey, enhancing my physical strength and mental fortitude.
CrossFit, for me, is not just a fitness regimen; it's a lifestyle that intertwines with every aspect of my life, from bonding with my children to fostering personal growth in our athletes and maintaining my personal health.
